PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain printing of high image quality and high gradation by avoiding waveform distortion of driving pulses, restraining or preventing the weight fluctuation of liquid and avoiding a lag of liquid jet timing. SOLUTION: A liquid jet device is provided with only one actuator 22 that is connected to a driving circuit to avoid the waveform distortion of driving pulses by providing transistor pairs for power amplification of drive waveform signals WCOM in the same number as the number of actuators, and interposing a smoothing filter 26 between the transistor pair and the actuator 22. In addition, modulating circuits 24 for the drive waveform signals WCOM and gate drive circuits 34 for driving the transistor pairs are provided in the same number as the number of transistor pairs. The drive waveform signals WCOM corresponding to the actuators 22 and nozzles can thereby be generated to restrain or prevent the weight fluctuation of liquid between the nozzles. Further, the drive waveform signals WCOM are simultaneously generated to the actuators 22 of the nozzles for jetting liquid. The lag of liquid jet timing is thereby avoided.
