PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide superior nozzle delivery stability, and to reduce contamination in a recording medium and an inside of an inkjet recorder in purging, in the recorder. SOLUTION: This inkjet recorder is provided with impression cylinders 216, 306 and a transfer cylinder 304 for conveying the recording medium 14, an inkjet head for droplet-shooting ink containing a polymer particle, a head driver for controlling the droplet-shooting of the inkjet head, to execute a purge of the inkjet head to a blank space area of the recording medium, a conveyance guide 150 and a solvent drying unit 308 for heat-treating the recording medium, a solvent drying control part for controlling heat-treatment of the conveyance guide, to bring a temperature of the recording medium deposited with the ink by the purge of the inkjet head, into a temperature of the lowest film forming temperature or more of the polymer particle, and a hot-press fixing control part for controlling heat-treatment of the solvent drying unit.
