<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a return force by return springs 20, 20, regardless of an abrasion amount of linings 18a, 18a of pads 19, 19. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The return springs 20, 20 are respectively assembled to pads 19, 19 with a predetermined elastic force so as to be relatively displaced with a predetermined force or more acts thereon. Elastic pieces 27, 27 smaller in elastic force than a retaining force based on the predetermined elastic force are disposed to tip parts of the return springs 20, 20, and the pads 19, 19 are returned by elastic restoring forces of the elastic pieces 27, 27. When travel amounts of the pads 19, 19 become larger, caused by abrasion of the linings 18, 18, portions out of the elastic pieces 27, 27 in edges of the return springs 20, 20 abut on each other, and the return springs 20, 20 are displaced with respect to the pads 19, 19.
