<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle apparatus capable of adjusting the direction of a display panel after being installed in a cabin. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The on-vehicle apparatus is equipped with a flat first case body 11 having a receiver and a circuit board to be incorporated, a second case body 12 having the display panel to be stored, and a ball joint (a stud part 21b of a ball stud 21 composing the ball joint is exposed to an external part in the figure). The display panel can be put right in front of a driver by swinging the second case body to change its direction while installing the first body at the position having appropriate sensitivity of the receiver. The on-vehicle apparatus is installed so that the second case body protrudes to the front side from the front surface position of a dashboard 1, a part of the second case body can be positioned at the lower side than the first case body by turning over the top and the bottom of the second case body, and the projection height from the dashboard of the on-vehicle apparatus surface can be suppressed low.
