<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency unit can inexpensively suppress flexure of a mounting plate which a concern when attaching or detaching an external connector, and improved in reliability of connection between a core of a coaxial connector and a circuit board. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This high-frequency unit includes: the circuit board 1 on which a high-frequency circuit part is formed; a shield case 2 having a frame shape enclosing the circuit board 1 with a plurality of sidewalls 2a; a partition wall 3 for partitioning a space on the circuit board 1; a mounting plate 4 which is a rectangular metal sheet disposed to face the circuit board 1 and of which three edge portions out of outer edge portions are supported by two of the sidewalls 2a and the partition wall 3; the coaxial connector 5 fixed to the mounting plate 4 to protrude outward; and a sheet metal cover 6 covering an upper open end of the shield case 2; wherein a core 5a extending from the coaxial connector 5 toward the circuit board 1 is connected to the high-frequency circuit part, and a side plate 4a is formed on the remaining one edge portion of the mounting plate 4 to be bent toward the circuit board 1.
