PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of attaining both of high speed durability and maneuverability. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire includes a carcass layer 7 disposed between a pair of bead parts 1, a belt layer 6 consisting of belt plies 6a, 6b laminated on an outer circumference of a tread part 3 of the carcass layer 7, a belt reinforcement layer 8 laminated on an outer circumference of the belt layer 6, a high extension reinforcement ply 8a formed by placing the belt reinforcement layer 8 right on the belt layer 6 and covering a high extension cord with rubber, and a low extension reinforcement ply 8b laminated on the outer circumference of the high extension reinforcement ply 8a and formed by covering a low extension cord with rubber.
