PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compatible the improvement of straight advancing stability and the improvement of fuel economy by improving both drag characteristics and lift characteristics. SOLUTION: This roof spoiler device comprises a roof 11 having a roof surface 12 inclining downward at a predetermined angle toward the rear end from an intermediate part; a back door 4 having a back door surface 13 inclining at an angle steeper than the inclination of the roof surface 12; a flow straightening plate 5 arranged extending over the whole width in the vehicle width direction at the upper end of the back door 4. The flow straightening plate 5 is provided so that its lower face is arranged with a predetermined clearance to the back door surface 13 and that its upper face inclines downward to the rear in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle.
