PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a pressure loss of a refrigerant flowing in a pipeline (a) between an outdoor heat exchanger 20 and an indoor heat exchanger 30 in a heat pump type refrigerating cycle. SOLUTION: An outdoor unit 100 is provided with a first expansion valve 10<SB>1</SB>, and an indoor unit 200 is provided with a second expansion valve 10<SB>2</SB>. A joint pipe 11a of the first expansion valve 10<SB>1</SB>and a joint pipe 11a of the second expansion valve 10<SB>2</SB>are connected by the pipeline (a). When the refrigerant flows in from a joint pipe 12a and flows out of the joint pipe 11a, the expansion valves are fully opened by the pressure of the refrigerant. When the refrigerant flows in from the joint pipe 11a and flows out of the joint pipe 12a, the expansion valves 10<SB>1</SB>, 10<SB>2</SB>are in a restricted state (a flow control state). In a cooling mode, the second expansion valve 10<SB>2</SB>expands the refrigerant directly in front of the indoor heat exchanger 30, and in a heating mode, the first expansion valve 10<SB>1</SB>expands the refrigerant directly in front of the outdoor heat exchanger 20. In the both cooling and heating modes, a large amount of the refrigerants flow through the pipeline (a) to reduce the pressure loss. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
