<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool socket fall prevention device and a tool socket. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This tool socket fall prevention device 40 prevents a tool socket 11 having a socket section 41 and a tool mounting section 10 from falling. The tool socket fall prevention device comprises a device body section 43 slidably attached to the outer periphery of the tool mounting section 10 and a ring 44 attached to the device body section 43. The tool socket 11 is mounted on an impact screwdriver 26 through a screwdriver bit 12.
