Disclosed is an antireflection film (10) that, as viewed from a normal direction of the film, comprises a plurality of first convexes (12a) having a two-dimensional size of not less than 1 µm and less than 100 µm and a plurality of second convexes (12b) having a two-dimensional size of not less than 10 nm and less than 500 nm.  The second convexes (12b) are provided on the first convexes (12a) and between the plurality of first convexes (12a).  The antireflection film has a first surface shape in which a rising angle a to the film face of the surface of the first convexes (12a) is about 90° or more, or a second surface shape obtained by reversing the first surface shape with respect to the film face.  The antireflection film has better antiglare function than the conventional antireflection film.
