The invention relates to biology and pharmacology, in particular to a method for controlling certain pathologies, including infections and tumoral diseases, by means of a new method for suppressing multidrug resistance by using amiodarone or compounds similar thereto. Said multidrug resistance is a substantial pathologic factor of a great number of diseases, including parasitic infections and cancer.
