FOLDABLE PORTABLE TERMINAL DEVICE

A portable terminal device with a TV broadcast receiving function which can be opened and closed in a first direction and a second direction allows a TV broadcast to be watched on a horizontally-long screen and is capable of displaying an operation part in a direction corresponding to that of the screen. Inside of the operation-surface side of a first casing (1) having the operation part, a slide sheet (13) which displays the contents of the keys of the operation part is disposed in a space surrounded by a key top sheet (16) attached to the first casing (1), a frame part (6), and a pusher sheet, and allowed to be slid by the movement of a protrusion part (12) formed at a connection part (3). Utilizing rotation of the protrusion part (12) in conjunction with closing of a second casing (2) in the first direction, the slide sheet (13) is slid to switch from a number array for telephone to that for channel selection and to also switch the direction of display by 90º. A slit is formed at the slide sheet (13) to facilitate pushing.
