PURPOSE: An opening/closing device of an opening/closing body is provided to reduce the impact which an opening/closing body applies to an opening at the closing operation. CONSTITUTION: An opening/closing device of an opening/closing body is composed of an arm(11), a driving device, a door position detector, and an ECU. The arm is installed at one side of a peripheral edge of an opening or a side door. The arm is formed to be displaced between a projecting position and a housing position. The driving device is composed of a motor(12) and a transfer mechanism(13). The driving device displaces the arm to the projecting position. The door position detector detects the opening/closing position about the opening of the side door. The ECU controls the drive of the driving device according to the opening/closing position detected from the door position detector.
