<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device reducing emission loss by an insulator by filling a translucent resin between an element substrate and a current-carrying part; and a lighting system using it. <P>SOLUTION: A translucent member includes a first member located between the element substrate and a current-carrying plate, and a second member located on the first member, and the refractive index of the first member is smaller than that of the second member, whereby influence of attenuation of light due to reflection of the element substrate and a side face of the current-carrying part can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
