<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control method and a program, for materializing a GUI of a retrieval result screen which is visually novel and excellently convenient. <P>SOLUTION: When displaying related information related to a retrieval target on a screen, an arc belt-like display area is set around the retrieval target, the arc belt-like display area is divided according to the number of retrieval results to form a display area of each retrieval result, and item information corresponding to the retrieval result is displayed on the divided display area. When one of the divided display areas is selected by user operation, the display area of the retrieval result is magnified in an arc direction according to detailed information of the retrieval result, and the detailed information is displayed.
