<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a mutual dependency only between terminals, and to improve convenience in the case of managing function limitation of the terminals in a network system of a portable electronic apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A first portable electronic apparatus is provided with: a first operating part; a first part to be operated which can operate on the basis of an operation of the first operating part; an authenticating part for determining whether to be a specific individual on the basis of registered prescribed authentication information and outputting an authentication signal when it is determined to be the specific individual; a control part for allowing an operation of the first part to be operated when the authentication signal is detected; and a first transmitting part which can transmit the authentication signal to a second portable electronic apparatus. The second portable electronic apparatus is provided with: a second operating part; a second part to be operated which operates on the basis of an operation of the second operating part; a second receiving part which receives the authentication signal transmitted from the first transmitting part; and a second control part for allowing the operation of the second part to be operated when the authentication signal received by the second receiving part is detected.
