<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing assisting device capable of excellently following the shape of a bathtub, and capable of being set in a bathtub of any shape. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The bathing assisting device has a seat part, on which a bathing person can be seated, disposed inside the bathtub in such a way as can be lifted. The seat part is composed of a plurality of rectangular hard members 6, 6 and 6 having seat faces 6a on the upper surface. The plurality of rectangular hard members 6, 6 and 6 are connected parallel to flanges 15a and 15b with wires 10a, 10b, 11a and 11b stretched between the opposite first flange 15a and the second flange 15b of the bathtub.
