<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently suppress escaping of heat outside a case from a fixing unit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The fixing unit is provided with a rotary body and a supporting member for supporting the rotary body to the case to be freely rotated. The rotary body includes: a main body section; and an end section shaft 24b which is arranged on an end section of the main body, supported by the supporting member, and is formed by material with lower heat conductivity than the main body section. A surface of contact between the end section shaft 24b and the supporting member includes circular contact sections which are formed in different positions in the direction of the circumference. Since the surface of contact between the end section shaft 24b and the supporting member includes the circular contact sections, the escaping of the heat from the main body section to the case through the end section shaft 24b and the supporting member can be sufficiently suppressed.
