PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance of sealing a bearing by suppressing the intrusion of foreign matters including water and dust entering between a seal and a slinger into the inside of the bearing while avoiding the deformation of the core metal of the seal. SOLUTION: The rolling bearing 10 comprises the seal 20 fixed to an outer ring 14 so as to be rotated together with the outer ring 14, and the slinger 40 arranged outside the seal 20. The seal 20 is constructed to cover the bearing outside of the core metal 22 with an elastic member. On the radially outward side face of the seal 20 facing the slinger 40 on the bearing outside, a conical side lip 30 is formed by the elastic member, so that it is inclined from the radial outward direction to the bearing outward direction and its diameter is enlarged in the bearing outward direction. A gutter-shaped groove 32 is formed on the outer diameter side of a root portion of the side lip 30.
