PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of preventing sudden fluctuation of power supply voltage by decreasing rush current when turning on power supply to a recording head. SOLUTION: The recording device is provided with an electrolytic capacitor for stabilizing supply voltage to a head, a transistor for charging the electrolytic capacitor, a transistor for discharging the electrolytic capacitor, and a push-pull circuit. The device is further provided with a resistance for suppressing charge/discharge current to the electrolytic capacitor, and a resistance for dividing the power supply voltage to the head, so as to turn on the power supply to the head in such a state that the power supply voltage to the head is increased by the capacitor.
