PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extremely innovative storable chair by collecting and bundling components at the center which is stored such that backrest rods are folded and lowered while moving downward, thereby the height of a backrest part is lowered, and the whole length of the chair is reduced, when storing it by collecting and bundling the components at the center. SOLUTION: The chair is so constituted that front side leg rods 1 and rear side leg rods 2 of the right and left leg parts 3 and strut bodies 11 of X-shaped strut bodies 4 are collected at the center in an raised state to be stored, backrest rods 5 constituting the backrest part are raised on the right and left leg parts 3, seat face rods 6 are provided at the right and left leg parts 3 in a horizontal state, the rear ends of the seat face rods 6 are pivoted to the rear side leg rods 2 into a horizontal state, the lower ends of the backrest rods 5 are pivoted to the rear side leg rods 2, and the pivot positions of the lower end parts of the backrest rods 5 are set lower than the pivot positions between the front side leg rods 1 and the rear side leg rods 2 of the leg parts 3.
