A method for refining aluminum alloys involves melt processing with gas and liquid flux. Flux is mixed in liquid metal by ejection thereof from the surface to a depth of the bath with gas stream that comes into the melt from the tuyere immersed into it at a ratio of the diameter of the blowing nozzle to its length of 0.1-0.3. |
