When a transmission error is detected in an A-side signal line (301) (B-side signal line (302)) and degeneration-controlled, a selection signal generation circuit (106) of LSI#1 (100) serving as a transmitting LSI instructs a selector (103) (selector (105)) to select an input from an ECC generation part (102b) (ECC generation part (104b)) to transmit the data transmitted via the B-side signal line (302) (A-side signal line (301)) and ECC data of this data via the A-side signal line (301) (B-side signal line (302)). Since the ECC data of the transmission data transmitted via the non-degenerated signal line is thus transmitted by means of the degenerated signal line, error detection and error correction of the transmission data can take place, thereby improving reliability of the transmission data and subsequently preventing a transmission path from further degenerating.
