PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sheet and a backlight unit display device, having an adhesive material layer capable of sticking a light diffusion member and a luminance control member with high adhesion as making a space layer be held. SOLUTION: This optical sheet has: the light diffusion member 13 diffusing and emitting light; the luminance control member 17 controlling a luminance in an emission direction of the light; and the adhesive material layer 18 connecting the light diffusion member 13 and the luminance control member 17. The optical sheet has the space layer 28 between the light diffusion member 13 and the luminance control member 17. The adhesive material layer 18 includes a first adhesive material layer 18a and a second adhesive material layer 18b each having different hardness, and a total thickness of the first adhesive material layer 18a and the second adhesive material layer 18b is≥10μm and≤60μm.
