PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving object information displaying device and a moving object information displaying method, capable of displaying the position of a vehicle which moves by the moment closer to an actual position, while determining whether progression display should be performed, when progression display is performed by which the position of a vehicle is advanced to and displayed on a predicted position, taking into account the speed (or acceleration etc.) of a vehicle. SOLUTION: A moving object information displaying device predicts a position of a moving object at the time of displaying on a screen moving object information which is information showing the moving object, based on calculated position information which shows a calculated position of the moving object at the time of acquiring position calculation data containing longitude and latitude data, in order to calculate a position of the moving object and on driving condition information which shows a driving condition of the moving object, and displays on the screen moving object information based on the predicted position. The device determines whether a progression display has been performed which is predicted position-based moving object information based on information concerning the moving object.
