<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relay a radio signal in a time which is almost equivalent to the case that there is no relay unit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A second synchronous signal B2 has the same cycle as a first synchronous signal B1, and a plurality of time slots specified by the second synchronous signal B2 are synchronized with a plurality of time slots TSn specified by a first synchronizing signal B2. Furthermore, different time slots TS are assigned to slave stations TR2 to TR4 belonging to a main group MG and slave stations TR5 and TR6 belonging to a sub-group SG, and the synchronous communication of a TDMA system is performed by an entire system including the main group MG and the sub-group SG. The time slots specified by the first synchronous signal B1 transmitted from the master station TR1 and the time slot specified by the second synchronous signal B2 transmitted from a relay unit RY are temporally overlapped so that it is possible to relay a radio signal in a time which is almost equivalent to the case that there is no relay unit RY.
