<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle moving device enabling a control system to be simplified by levitating, supporting, and moving a vehicle by a carriage device without increasing the size. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This vehicle moving device 1 for levitating, supporting, and moving the wheels of the vehicle includes the carriage device 10 having a steerable traveling drive mechanism, a levitating and supporting means 30 which is mounted on the carriage device 10 in such a manner as to be retreated by telescoping means 35 and which levitates and supports all the wheels, and a control unit. Since the steering and traveling driving of the carriage device and the retreat and levitation of the levitating and supporting means are controlled by a control means, the vehicle moving device can levitate, support, and move the vehicle by one carriage device without increasing the size of the device, and the control system can be simplified.
