<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To express more realistic starlit sky with relatively small data. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This image creation device is provided with a celestial sphere face modeling part (301) for modeling a celestial sphere face based on celestial sphere face object data defining a celestial sphere face object configured of a plurality of division faces; a star modeling part (303) for modeling a star-like object on a celestial sphere face based on star-like object data defining a star-like object; a perspective projection conversion part (505) for performing perspective projection conversion to the modeled celestial sphere face object and star-like object; a celestial sphere face texture mapping part (306) for mapping a texture to each section face based on the texture data developed into the division faces; and a star mapping part (309) for selecting any of the pixel data created by mapping the texture, and for mapping the pixel data to the star-like object whose perspective projection conversion has been performed.
