<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that much time and labor are required for removing magnet pieces attached to respective parts of a decomposing device or crushed iron scraps when products such as motors having permanent magnets are decomposed, and recycling efficiency is extremely low because magnets are attached to the crushed pieces during recycling. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The permanent magnets are demagnetized by applying a high frequency voltage between at least two terminals of windings of motors having permanent magnets.
