<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-effect absorption refrigerator capable of suppressing the internal pressure of a high-temperature regenerator while keeping the advantage of a parallel flow. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this double-effect absorption refrigerator in which a first solution pump 8 and a low-temperature solution heat exchanger 6 are disposed in a pathway 16 for distributing a solution from an absorber 1 to a low-temperature regenerator 3, a pathway 18 for distributing the diluted solution to a high-temperature regenerator 4 is branched from the way of a diluted solution pathway 16 connecting the low-temperature regenerator 3 from the first solution pump 8, and a second solution pump 9 and a high-temperature solution heat exchanger 7 are disposed in the pathway 19 after being branched, a pathway 23 for supplying a part of the thick solution from the low-temperature regenerator 3 and/or the high-temperature regenerator 4 to a suction side of the second solution pump 9 is connected, so that the thick solution is mixed with the diluted solution from the first solution pump 8 and supplied to the high-temperature regenerator 4.
