<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to select importance of a response to user's reproduction control operation or priority to flexibility of a program. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A video disk player 1 includes a disk read section 50 acquiring video data, a program, and program management information from an optical disk 2, a program performing section 70 performing the program, a decoder 24 decoding the video data, based on reproduction control information and a user inputting section 3 receiving reproduction control operation from an external part and forming reproduction control information. The program performing section 70 includes a video reproduction control part 13 for transmitting the reproduction control information to the decoder 24; the program management information includes a flag showing whether the reproduction control information formed by the user inputting section 3 is transmitted to the decoder 24; and it is determined whether the reproduction control information formed by the user inputting section 3 is transmitted to the decoder 24, based on the flag.
