There are disclosed split wedges displaced to upper inclined surfaces and side walls of seats at the ends of the bogie bolster of railroad car, on which there are nonmetallic wear inserts, which interact with side walls of seats for decrease or eliminating wear of the side walls of seats. The standard wear inserts are cast cover plates from polymeric material selected from the group, which includes polyamide resin, Delrin resin, ultrahighmolecular polyethylene and urethanes, they have a hardness within the range from approximately 700° to approximately 900° and a coefficient of sliding friction within the range from approximately 0.10 to approximately 0.30. The cover plates are installed in depressions of the side walls of wedges and are retained in place by fastening means, for example, fastening elements with thread for simplification of replacement. |
