The method involves providing tomographic i.e. X-ray computer tomographic, recording data, and determining sinogram representation of the recording data. A local sinogram filter is implemented at sinogram data of the sinogram representation of the recording data. Temporal correlation of the recording data is considered by the local sinogram filter. Spatial correlation of the recording data is considered by the sinogram filter. Specification of an attenuation value in a form corresponds to the sinogram representation of the recording data. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a storage medium with a program code whose execution on a processor unit causes a method for filtering radio tomographic i.e. X-ray computer tomographic, recording data for reconstruction of two dimensional or three dimensional images of a test object (2) a storage medium with a program code whose execution on a processor unit causes a reconstruction method for radio tomographic i.e. X-ray computer tomographic, recording data (3) a tomography device i.e. X-ray computer tomography device, for radiological imaging.
