<p>Provided is an electric connector capable of fixing even a small-sized connecting terminal by a strong retaining force. When a terminal holder (21) of the uppermost layer mounting a connecting terminal (11) is pushed into a housing (31) from the bottom side to the highest position, the retaining members (33) of the housing (31) enter the cut portions (27) of the terminal holders (21), and the retained portions (17) of the individual connecting terminals (11) of the terminal holders (21) are commonly fixed so that the connecting terminals (11) can be forcibly prevented from leaving backward. The terminal holders (21) mounting the connecting terminals (11) are then sequentially pushed upward of the housing (31) and are laminated, so that retaining members (28) of the terminal holders (21) of the upper layers enter the cut portions (27) of the terminal holders (21) of the lower layers thereby to fix the retained portions (17) commonly. After all the terminal holders (21) are inserted into the housing (31), a bottom cover (41) is attached to the housing (31).</p> |
