FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: method consists in friction effect of brake block on rolling wheel or rotating surface connected with wheel of vehicle. Brake force realised in zone of cohesion of a wheel of vehicle with contact surface is initiated with force of cohesion at rolling of brake block made in form of a wheel on the wheel of vehicle or on rolling surface connected with the wheel of vehicle under the mode of forced slipping caused by different speed in the zone of contact. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency of braking and reduced wear of brake friction pair brake block-wheel or lining-disk. ^ 1 dwg
