The device 70 is equipped with a light emitting part for emitting outgoing light from a light emitting element 8 to the finger of the human through a light guide 16, an imaging part 9 having one or more rows of pixels formed by arranging a plurality of pixels, and a driving mechanism for moving the light emitting part and the imaging part directly or indirectly in a direction of intersecting with the direction in which the pixels contained in the row of the pixels are disposed.
