PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidification and ventilation device capable of securing necessary humidification amount by a vaporizing humidifier without mounting a heater and a hot water or refrigerant coil, capable of using heat exchange efficiency of a total heat exchanger at a highly efficient point by controlling the quantity of exhaust air and supply air, and having a simple and compact product configuration by using the small humidifier. SOLUTION: In this ventilation device, the total heat exchanger 5 performing heat exchange between the outside air and indoor air is provided between an air supply air channel 2 having an air supply air blower 1 for sucking outside air to the indoor side and an air exhaust air channel 4 having an air exhaust air blower 3 for discharging indoor air to outside of the room, and the humidifier 7 is provided between an indoor blow-out port 6 of the air supply air channel 2 and the total heat exchanger 5. The ventilation device is provided with a bypass air blower 9 for making air flow from an indoor suction port 8 on the air exhaust air channel 4 to the upstream side of the humidifier 7 on the air supply air channel 2. Due to this configuration, heating is enabled without mounting a heating device and humidification can be performed.
