PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescence temperature sensor improved in measurement accuracy by enhancing the fluorescence intensity of a fluorescent material even in a simple structure. SOLUTION: This fluorescence temperature sensor for generating a temperature signal from fluorescence of the photo-excited fluorescent material 1 is equipped with: an LED 2 for projecting light to the fluorescent material 1; a photodiode 4 for receiving fluorescence emitted by the fluorescent material 1; and a signal processing circuit 5 for generating the temperature signal from an output of the photodiode 4. Optical fiber 8 for light projection used to transmit the light of the LED 2 to the fluorescent material 1 and optical fiber 9 for light reception used to transmit the light of the fluorescent material 1 to the photodiode 4 are separated/independent from each other on their one end sides leading to the respective elements 2 and 4 while being bundled up on their other end sides leading to the fluorescent material 1 so as to be mixed with each other.
