The invention relates to an extract obtained from the skin of Rana catesbeiana, intended for the treatment of mastitis in cattle. The invention also relates to a drug which contains the aforementioned extract, intended for the treatment of mastititis in cattle. The invention further relates to the use of the said extract for preparing a drug for the treatment of mastitis in cattle. Finally, the invention relates to a method for obtaining the above-mentioned extract.
