<p>Disclosed is a wobble plate type variable displacement compressor with a constant velocity joint mechanism, which comprises an inner wheel and an outer wheel and balls that are held between inner wheel and outer wheel guide races and that transmit power, and in which a wobble plate is linked affixed to the outer wheel. At least one or the other of the opposing guide races on the inner wheel and outer wheel of said swash plate type variable displacement compressor is formed following a guide race cross-sectional profile to touch the balls at two points. In a wobble plate type variable displacement compressor that uses this unique constant velocity joint mechanism, the ball bearing retainer structure between the inner and outer wheels can be improved in a wobble plate rotation prevention mechanism, and desired power transmission can be reliably accomplished.</p> |
