<p>For the production of a continuous shaped and reinforced fabric, it is alternated with a membrane (34) with embedded reinforcement filaments in overlapping sections on a conveyor (29), moving over a preparation table (25). The reinforced membrane passes through a press with an upper air-filled chamber (1) containing an adjustable shaping bar (10), and a lower flexible unit (4) and a lower water-filled chamber (14) with an upper flexible unit (17). With the shaping bar set to a given configuration, the flexible units distort around the shaping bar with the membrane, and heat acts on the reinforcement filaments to take up the three-dimensional shape of the bar.</p> |
