<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical print head in which a light emitting element provided to a substrate is disposed in a desired position with respect to a lens with relatively high precision, and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with the optical print head. <P>SOLUTION: The optical print head includes: the light emitting element mounted on the upper surface of a substrate; a lens array disposed above the light emitting element; and a housing to which the substrate and lens array are fixed and which has an opposite face to the lower face of the substrate. The housing has a hole being opened in an area opposite to the substrate in the opposite face. The substrate is joined to the opposite face across an adhesive member such that the upper surface of the substrate abuts on a reference member fixed to the housing.
