<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna system, used for a load control system, which is made large in antenna gain and compact. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The antenna system 1 includes a circuit board 2 stored in a housing 50. The circuit board 2 includes a loop antenna 10 comprising a conductive pattern 3, an antenna element 4, and a capacitor 5. The antenna element 4 is stood on the circuit board 2 while having both ends connected to two through-holes 2a formed in the circuit board 2. The antenna element 4 is provided projecting onto a first surface of the circuit board 2 on a front side of the antenna system 1 to constitute a portion of a loop of the loop antenna 10 differently from the conductive pattern 3, a radio circuit portion 12, etc., provided on a second surface of the antenna system 1 on a back side of the antenna system 1 on the circuit board 2.
