<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document supply device effectively preventing displacement of a reading position relative to a document and a document reading apparatus, including the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A document reading section 4 installed on an ADF (document supply device) is positioned by a rotating shaft 241 of an document carrier roller 24 that carries the document. Thus, a reading position of the document reading section 4 is fixed, relative to a direction in which the document is carried by the document carrier roller 24, thereby effectively preventing displacement of the reading position relative to the document.
