<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication unit that performs communication processing easily with simple configuration. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A wireless communication unit 10 configures a system which lets a BT module 12 and a wireless LAN module 14 coexist internally. The modules 12 and 14 inform their communication state or preference mutually as a state, and stops wireless communication during a time zone when the other module performs wireless communications preferentially. When the BT module 12 shifts to SCO link connection, a PCM clock signal is converted by a logic IC 24 into a control signal and input to the wireless LAN module 14. Upon receiving the control signal, the wireless LAN module 14 sets the lower limit of communication rate and prevents communication error caused by rate drop. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
