<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge developing toner whose coloring particles are excellent not only in electrical charge property and electrical charge stability but also in dispersability and dispersion stability, and an electrostatic charge developing toner which is excellent in re-dispersability, in particular, a positively chargeable electrostatic charge developing toner. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge developing toner contains at least a bonding resin and a colorant, and toner particles which are obtained by chemically modifying coloring particles having acid groups on their surfaces by using an epoxy-modified silicone.
