<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "reproduction apparatus" which properly carries out reproduction processing using reproduction data from outside. Ž<P>SOLUTION: At the timing fixed by a USB clock, an audio processing microcomputer 102 reads audio data stored in an external USB device 200 and stores it in a FIFO memory 108. At the timing fixed by an audio clock, the audio processing microcomputer 102 reads the audio data in the FIFO memory 108 and reproduces it. The audio processing microcomputer 102 increases a frequency of the USB clock when the data amount of audio data in the FIFO memory 108 shows a decreasing trend, but decreases the frequency of the USB clock when the data amount shows an increasing trend.
