<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collar for an animal capable of suppressing the pressing of the periphery of a tracheal part of the animal such as a dog with the collar for the animal even when a lead is strongly pulled. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A connecting pin-inserting hole 14 is formed at and passed through one end 12A of the collar body 12 of the collar 10 for an animal, and a collar-connecting pin 16 is projected from the other end 12B of the collar body 12. A diameter-expanding part 18 is formed at the tip of the collar-connecting pin 16. The lateral part 12C on the head side of the collar body 12 is formed into a linear shape, and the lateral part 12D on the body side is formed into a circular arc shape. A ring-mounting body 20 is mounted on the collar body 12 so as to hang from the lateral part 12D on the body side, and a lead-mounting ring 22 is mounted on the ring-mounting body 20.
