PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion-type hair cosmetic composition containing at least one component selected from inorganic salts and chelating agent salts, and having improved emulsion stability by the improvement in salt resistance. SOLUTION: The emulsion-type hair cosmetic composition contains (A) at least one kind of substance selected from inorganic salts and chelating agent salts, (B) an acylmethyltaurine salt and (C) a nonionic surfactant. Preferably, the amount of (A) at least one substance selected from inorganic salts and chelating agent salts in the emulsion-type hair cosmetic composition is 0.5-8 mass%.
