The notebook has a monitor housing (4) detachably connected to a processor base housing (5). The monitor housing has a display (46) which is positioned at a distance from the processor base housing and is operable in a detached condition. The monitor housing is pivotable around an axis (3) opposite to the base housing and the display is operable with a suitable axis pivoting angle in a connected condition. Two plug connectors (1) rotatably surround the axis and are guided into a recess (51) in the base housing, where the connectors are lockable in the connected condition in a form-fit manner.
